While other students were busy enjoying their relaxing week back from Thanksgiving Break, the KCOM Radiology Club was chest-deep in Aquasonic 100 (Ultrasound gel). Nicholas Burnham (with the help of David Perry) went to great lengths to help us all understand just how heart ultrasound works and how it can help us as future physicians. Several club members (including 2010 Class President Curtis Nielsen, seen in picture) offered themselves as subjects to help us better appreciate ultrasound technology.
